Claire Cottingham is a leading sports presenter and pit lane reporter trusted by the world’s biggest sporting organisations to deliver high-pressure live broadcasting with clarity, authority, and personality.

I’m a sports broadcaster, presenter and commentator with over a decade of experience working at the heart of global sport.

My career has been shaped by live environments , where preparation meets unpredictability, and where clarity, personality and trust matter most. I’m best known for a personality-first approach, combining strong editorial knowledge with an instinctive ability to connect audiences to the people behind the competition.

A natural anti-gatekeeper, I believe elite sport should feel inclusive, human and engaging — without ever losing credibility.

Formula 1 & Motorsport

I’m a familiar face in the Formula 1 paddock, having attended more than 40 Grands Prix as an accredited journalist and broadcaster. I’ve interviewed every driver on the grid, from Lewis Hamilton to Max Verstappen, alongside team principals and senior figures across the sport.

Beyond Motorsport

Alongside F1, I’ve worked across a wide range of global sporting events, including three Olympic and Paralympic Games, major motorsport championships, and international live productions.

I’m equally comfortable reporting from the pit lane, anchoring broadcasts, or hosting large-scale live events, adapting quickly while keeping audiences engaged.
